Ohio Kratom Warriors: Let me get straight to the point - we need your help today. Currently, the Ohio Board of Pharmacy is considering recommending a ban on kratom. The American Kratom Association has already been in multiple discussions with the Board of Pharmacy, who seem very open to hearing our point of view. We are planning on sending the letter below to the Board members tomorrow and need as many Ohio residents as possible to lend their support by signing onto the letter. At this point, we are NOT asking folks to individually contact the Board of Pharmacy members, but to join us in this unified letter. Please forward this email to friends, neighbors, or family who are residents of Ohio. Together we can win the fight to keep kratom legal. Sincerely, Dave Herman Chairman American Kratom Association Letter to the Ohio Board of Pharmacy Ohio Board of Pharmacy: We the undersigned citizens of the Great State of Ohio, respectfully request the State of Ohio Board of Pharmacy to Follow the Science on the natural plant kratom and protect the freedom of consumers to safely use this plant for their health and well-being. Kratom is safely used by nearly 5 million Americans as a dietary ingredient. We ask that you carefully review the compelling science that documents that the natural plant kratom is safe, is not dangerously addictive, and it does not lead to overdose deaths as classic opioid substances do. Please do no enact any ban on this important plant and we strongly encourage you to request that the FDA take needed steps to identify and prosecute any kratom vendor who adulterates or makes false medicinal claims about kratom.
